About Us

Community pharmacists are highly accessible health care professionals, with many current and potential opportunities to increase patient access to health and wellness services. The Center for Health and Wellness is a licensed pharmacy within the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Our pharmacy faculty, residents, and students provide direct patient care services to Sullivan University employees and students. We educate future and practicing pharmacists in these care models to enhance the health and wellness of their communities. As pharmacists, we work with community partners and care teams to optimize health outcomes.

We prepare pharmacists to practice at the full scope of their license, improving the health of the patients and communities they serve. We employ educationresearch and innovation to enhance sustainable patient care delivery models.  Through community partnerships, we facilitate the dissemination and adoption of advanced pharmacy practice.

To lead the advancement of pharmacy practice through education and innovation.

Courses & Training

The Center for Health & Wellness offers the APhA Certification Program on Delivering Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Services. This course is an innovative and interactive training program that explores the pharmacist’s role in providing MTM services to patients. This activity teaches pharmacists the essential skills necessary to become a successful MTM practitioner. The certificate training program will enhance pharmacists’ clinical expertise in evaluating complicated medication regimens, identifying medicationrelated problems, and making recommendations to patients, caregivers, and health care professionals.
