The Master of Science in Managing Information Technology (MSMIT) is an interdisciplinary program that integrates business strategies with computer technology. You’ll learn how IT developments can be used to improve organizational competitiveness in analysis, design, implementation and service delivery. The program emphasizes both technical and domain knowledge as e-commerce, systems development, web 2.0, integrity reliability, and security issues are key components of the program, as well as the mastery of core managerial skills. You will learn strategy and management tools required to gain greater authority within the profession and relate technology to the profitability of the company.

The MSMIT program is eligible as a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field for international students who are considering Optional Practical Training (OPT). Students may gain more insights about OPT and STEM from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
