Congratulations to Sullivan College of Technology & Design HVAC-R students Charles Carper, Charles Lucas and Gerardo Alex Welches, who are the newest recipients of the Harshaw Trane/Ingersoll Rand Foundation’s scholarship. Each received $4,166 toward their tuition. View the scholarship presentation here.

Every quarter, $12,500 in scholarships are available for a total of $150,000 over the course of three years. Individual scholarships range from $4,000 to $5,000 and are based on criteria established by a committee representing Harshaw Trane, the Ingersoll Rand Foundation and The Sullivan University System.

“Qualified, professional HVAC-R technicians are the backbone of our industry and enable us to deliver energy-efficient and sustainable solutions to our clients,” said Lou Zaccone, vice president of Harshaw Trane.

Full-time HVAC-R students at Sullivan College of Technology & Design can apply for the scholarship during their third quarter of study. In order to qualify, students must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

Academic Dean Dr. Sheree Koppel has the complete criteria for the scholarship, as well as application materials. Contact her at 502-213-8200 (direct line) or skoppel@sullivan.edu.
