Dr. Ronald S. Hockin, Ph.D., has been a senior adjunct instructor with Sullivan University since 2011. His academic and professional concentrations are within business management, healthcare administration, philosophy and psychology.  Dr. Hockin has former extensive clinical practice experience as an advanced marital and family therapist within the licensed discipline of social work. He has worked with mental health populations for 15 years.

Dr. Hockin is a recognized Commissioned Officer of the Inactive Ready Reserve and a veteran with our country’s Armed Forces. His theoretical and research interests rest with leadership activity and organizational survivability. These interests are influenced by great thinkers, such as Locke, Hume, Kant, Hegel, Schopenhauer, James, Dewey, Russell, Drucker, Kotter, Rand, Jung, Ellis, Goleman, Piaget, Husserl, Merleau-Ponty, to name just a few. Dr. Hockin welcomes those who aspire toward higher education and administration, and is happy to serve as a mentor and/or committee member in support of those persons seeking her/his Ph.D.
