Gary S. Metcalf, Ph.D. is a distinguished lecturer in The Graduate School at Sullivan University. He is also an active practitioner, serving as the president of InterConnections, LLC, a management consulting firm that focuses on building organizational capacity through leadership, teamwork and communications. In addition, he currently serves as president for the International Federation for Systems Research, and is past-president of the International Society for the Systems Sciences. Dr. Metcalf is the author of a number of publications in the area of organizational systems, including Social Systems and Design (to be published by Springer in 2014) and the co-author of The Management of People in Mergers & Acquisitions (Quorum Books, 2001) with Dr. Teresa A. Daniel.
