Biography

Erin Riley is a proud native of Louisville, Kentucky and has had an interest in the medical field since the young age of eight. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Bellarmine University where she also participated as a member of the Biology Club and as a board member on the Student Activities Board. Ms. Riley went on to attend the University of Kentucky Physician Assistant Program based in Morehead, Kentucky. While in PA school, Ms. Riley was able to put her Spanish language skills to use performing medical mission work with her classmates in Piedras Negras, Mexico.

After graduating from PA School, Erin’s first clinical job was in geriatrics. She then worked in general pediatrics, but found her true love of patient care was in pediatric endocrinology. After serving as a guest lecturer for the Sullivan University Physician Assistant program, she joined the faculty full-time in January 2015. Erin is very passionate about the promotion of the Physician Assistant profession and happily serves as the Mentoring Chair for the Kentucky Academy of Physician Assistants. She lives in Prospect with her cat Bella and loves to spoil her nieces and nephews.
